Founders Challenge (1500 x 400 px)

You Did Great on the SAT or ACT. Think You Have What It Takes to Conquer the Better Test? Prove It.

A recent Washington Post op-ed argued that the SAT and ACT have lowered their standards, calling the CLT "a better test."

In light of this, we're inviting the nation's highest-achieving students to put that claim to the test.

If you’ve already earned a 1500+ on the SAT or 34+ on the ACT, sign up to take the remotely proctored CLT on July 16, score 112 or higher, and we’ll award you $1,000.

Registration closes Thursday, July 9, so sign up today!

Why We're Issuing This Challenge

This week, The Washington Post published an opinion piece titled: Move over, SAT and ACT. There’s a better test.

The article argues that changes to the SAT and ACT have made both exams less rigorous over time, while the CLT continues to emphasize deep reading, reasoning, vocabulary, and mathematics without a calculator, serving as a better predictor of academic preparedness at the college level.

Rather than simply making that argument ourselves, we’re inviting students to see the difference.

If you’ve already demonstrated exceptional academic achievement on the SAT or ACT, take the CLT and see how it compares.

Over 350+ colleges and universities accept CLT scores for admissions, including top institutions in university systems like North Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, and Florida, and the U.S. Military Service Academies.  The CLT could be the test to help you get into your top-choice college and earn scholarships.
